About Us

In 2015, Ellen Started a side hustle of baking decorated sugar cookies while she was a sophomore in high school. Having loved baking ever since she was a little girl, she fell into the business easily. She expanded into the cake business in 2020, and quickly added much more to her repertoire. When she graduated from Ole Miss and got married in the spring of 2022, she began baking full time out of her home. A change in job titles for her husband moved the two of them to Picayune, MS in the fall of 2022. Just a few months later, Ellen Cookies’ first store front opened its doors in April 2023!
